Update for Spring League- April 23

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation.  The safety of our players of all ages is our number one priority, and in accordance with Provincial and Federal guidelines, we have cancelled our Spring programs.

We are actively working on future programs to be opened as soon as we can safely provide them, following all government health guidelines. These plans include day camps, High Performance Development programs, week-night games, weekend jamborees and family drop-ins that will allow our membership to reconnect.  In addition, we are considering an expansion of our fall programs.

Spring League is the largest contributor to the club’s annual operational income and expenses. The cancellation will have a significant financial impact on our organization.  Nevertheless, we have collected fees for a program that we now cannot deliver.  We understand that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on each family can vary widely and with this in mind, we are offering three options for our membership in terms of spring league registration fees:

1. Registration fees will be held as is and will be applied as a credit to any future programming of your choice (junior or adult).
2. Registration fees will be fully refunded. Refunds will take 2-4 weeks to process and be paid to the card used for registration. There will be no administration fee applied to any refund request.
3. Registration fees can be donated to the Club.

Action Required - Please let us know by emailing info@wvfhc.com which option above works best for you and your family and we will take action.  If no action is taken, fees will be held as a credit towards future programming.

In the meantime,  Our Technical Director Geoff Matthews, and our club coaches are offering skill challenges and a weekly on-line practice or skills session via Zoom. Links available via our website, on Social media or on our YouTube channel.

Follow us on our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for member challenges and all the latest information regarding our club.

A huge thank you to the many volunteers who made contributions to prepare for a season that will not happen. The efforts are much appreciated, and we all look forward to the whistle blow that will signal our ability to play once again.

Keep well, stay active and we will see you soon!
