Fearless Females

Learn from women in sport who have broken through barriers & scaled new heights.
Join us on a journey to discover how being physically active helps you become a leader.

We are excited to announce a new program for teenage girls this February!  Fearless Females will inspire and explore leadership and empowerment through sport.  Over 4 weeks we will learn from personal reflection, group discussion & the stories of women who compete in cycling, triathlon, skiing, field hockey, and other sports. 

Program Information

Through a combination of personal reflection, group discussion, and stories from female athletes, we will address:

  • Lessons in adversity
  • Opening doors through sport
  • Following your passion
  • Leadership and empowerment through sport

Participants will be provided with a short handbook to guide them through the program.

Wednesdays, 6-27 february 2019

Time: 6.30 - 9pm

Location: BC Bike Race HQ, 188 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver

Cost: $25 per participant

Who can apply?

We are seeking girls age 13-18 years committed to discovering how sport can help them become strong females. Participation is limited to 20 girls who must acknowledge this commitment statement:

  • I am able and commit to attending all 4 sessions
  • I understand that the speakers and facilitators are giving their time to run the sessions for my benefit
  • I will participate in all the sessions and will respect the time and contributions of others
